Meet Kait Richardson, RDN, LD

You've been doing everything "right." So why does food still feel so dang hard?!

You know vegetables are good and processed food is bad. You’ve tried all the meal plans, diets, or even medications. And yet here you are, still stuck in the same cycle, still frustrated, still wondering why this feels so hard for everyone else but you.

My guess is that it’s not a knowledge problem, or even a lack of discipline problem!

You just haven’t found the right strategy for YOU and your body. And that’s actually great news because we can fix that.

You Deserve to Feel Good in Your Body

Whether you’re trying to lose weight, balance your hormones, build real energy, or just stop thinking about food 24 hours a day, you deserve a path forward that actually fits your life. One that doesn’t require perfection, deprivation, or starting over every Monday.

That’s exactly what we build together.

I’ve Been Where You Are

Hi, I’m Kait Richardson, Orlando Registered Dietitian. And I’m not going to pretend like I’ve always had this healthy eating thing figured out.

I spent years wrestling with my weight, body image, and an all-or-nothing mindset around food that I could not shake no matter how hard I tried. At my heaviest I was 30 pounds overweight, swinging between binge eating and periods of restriction, convinced that the next plan would finally be the one that worked.

And the irony? I was a new registered dietitian. I knew exactly what to eat. So why couldn’t I just do it?

Here’s what my days actually looked like: workout fasted, chug a protein shake, run around the hospital all day, eat at my desk as fast as possible, grab a granola bar and another coffee in the car, survive the afternoon on “healthy” chips and gummy candies, go home too tired to cook a real meal, eat eggs and toast and call it good, then snack on popcorn and chocolate until I passed out. Repeat.

By the weekend I was so burnt out that the last thing I wanted was to cook. So I’d enjoy whatever I wanted in excess telling myself that I’d swear off everything “bad” next week.

When the cycle repeated, I kept thinking I just needed more discipline or a more restrictive diet.

Then one evening I was sitting in my car in a parking lot between clients, eating a Nutri-Grain bar over my steering wheel, and I just thought: I am exhausted. Not tired. Utterly exhausted. The kind that sleep doesn’t fix.

And it hit me: I wasn’t struggling because I lacked discipline. I was struggling because I was chronically under fueled.

My body was doing exactly what a body does when it doesn’t have enough to run on. It was conserving energy, spiking cravings, crashing hard, and demanding quick fuel just to keep the lights on. My weight was slowly climbing up while my sanity was plummeting.

When I started actually fueling myself consistently, adequately, and simply, everything changed. The weight stabilized. The cravings quieted. I stopped white-knuckling my way through every afternoon. I started feeling as capable as I actually was. And I reached a weight I felt great at (even postpartum)

And I realized: this is what I’d been telling my clients to do all along. I just hadn’t believed I deserved it too.

Here's How We'll Do It:

Kait Richardson

We’ll focus on 3 things:

1. Build a foundation that works. Personalized nutrition plans designed around your goals, your hormones, your preferences, and your busy schedule. Whether you’re managing PCOS, emotional/stress eating, perimenopause, or GLP-1 medications, your plan is built for you specifically.

2. Break the cycle for good. We address the emotional eating, the stress eating, the restrict-rebound loop, and the food noise that makes this feel exhausting. You’ll leave with real tools, not just information.

3. Make it stick. Accountability, science-backed strategy, and support that’s warm and judgment-free. Your goals become my goals!

What Changes When We Work Together

  • Weight loss, fat loss, and/or muscle gain (depending on your goals!)
  • The mental chatter around food gets quieter
  • Your energy and hormones start working with you instead of against you
  • You stop needing a fresh start every Monday
  • You actually enjoy eating again
